El informe sostiene que las votaciones y los nombramientos presidenciales de Interpol son completamente opacos, sin que se haga p\u00fablica ninguna lista de candidatos. El candidato de EAU a la presidencia de Interpol est\u00e1 acusado de violaciones de los derechos humanos, entre ellas presidir la detenci\u00f3n y tortura de ciudadanos brit\u00e1nicos. Adem\u00e1s, los EAU tienen un historial de abuso del sistema de notificaciones rojas de Interpol y de pr\u00e1ctica de entregas forzosas de personas desde el extranjero.  Los EAU tambi\u00e9n tienen un p\u00e9simo historial en materia de derechos humanos, tanto en su pa\u00eds como en el extranjero, y es preocupante que puedan tener una influencia a\u00fan mayor sobre Interpol.
