La inmunidad diplom\u00e1tica protege a los diplom\u00e1ticos de este tipo de injerencias pol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"sqsrte-large\">La confusi\u00f3n en los m\u00e1s altos niveles del Gobierno en torno a la cuesti\u00f3n de la inmunidad diplom\u00e1tica es preocupante y es de suponer por qu\u00e9 la familia Dunn tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 tratando de presentar una acusaci\u00f3n privada contra Dominic Raab, el secretario de Asuntos Exteriores, por mala conducta en un cargo p\u00fablico, un desaf\u00edo legal que es poco probable que tenga \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"sqsrte-large\">Aunque la Sra. Sacoolas ya no goza de inmunidad diplom\u00e1tica al estar de vuelta en suelo estadounidense, la cuesti\u00f3n en un tribunal ser\u00eda si ten\u00eda inmunidad en el momento del accidente. Las autoridades estadounidenses afirman que s\u00ed la ten\u00eda. La inmunidad diplom\u00e1tica es algo que s\u00f3lo puede levantarse por acuerdo o a trav\u00e9s de un juez. Estados Unidos ha dejado claro que no acceder\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"sqsrte-large\">Ha habido muchos llamamientos para que Estados Unidos haga una excepci\u00f3n. Hay situaciones en las que se suspende la inmunidad -por asesinato, robo y otros delitos graves premeditados-, pero no se suspender\u00e1 en este caso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;white-space: normal !important;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"sqsrte-large\">Por horrible que sea, no se trata de un abuso del proceso diplom\u00e1tico. Este caso es un triste subproducto de un principio fundamental del derecho internacional y la diplomacia, lo que significa que la \u00fanica manera de que la Sra. Sacoolas se enfrente a la justicia ser\u00e1 si regresa voluntariamente.
