IHR Advisors’ founders, Ben Keith and Rhys Davies, will be speaking at the upcoming seminar Transnational Organised Crime: Challenges and Answers from International Criminal Law on 1 and 2 December at the Bar Association of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Building on our increasing engagement in Latin America, Ben and Rhys will share their expertise on transnational crime, INTERPOL operations, and transnational repression, offering insights into the evolving landscape of international criminal law.
They will be joined by Cristian González Ruiz, who will focus on representing clients in transnational criminal litigation, exploring the practical strategies and challenges of defending clients across borders.
Hosted by Bases Republicanas and supported by the International Criminal Court, the seminar brings together legal professionals, policymakers, and scholars to discuss pressing issues in global crime prevention and justice.

The United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has issued a significant ruling finding that Charles Ridley, a British national, has been arbitrarily detained in the United Arab Emirates since 2008, in violation of fundamental international human rights standards.
