Our co-founders Rhys Davies y Ben Keith have been nominated for International Pro Bono Barrister of the Year at the Advocate Awards.
The nomination follows a year in which they secured a landmark African Commission ruling holding Uganda responsible for the torture and secret detention of a Rwandan refugee, obtained a Naciones Unidas Working Group finding that a British national has been arbitrarily detained in the UAE for 17 years, and continued to challenge INTERPOL Red Notices used to target journalists and human rights defenders.

In July 2025, the European Parliament voted in favour of a resolution calling for the immediate release of British citizen Ryan Cornelius, who has been unlawfully imprisoned in Dubai for 17 years.
